Mastering the technology to set up these web pages was so simple that even I could do it. Registering the site appears to be more complex as Getting British Business Online swamps me with welcoming messages and different registration details - none of which appears to work. I dare not enter their portal again for fear of registering for a third time. I tried to email them and plead for help but their email address doesn't work either.

Obviously I blame myself for  these teething problems. I expect programs to go wrong so they do. I am no longer as phobic as I was twenty years again when I used to talk to computers in the hope that a few soothing words would keep them sweet. Software has become much easier to negotiate - but there is always a point when it bites back and refuses to follow instructions. Consequently I spend the first hour congratulating myself on how well I'm doing - and the next hour sobbing hysterically into the keyboard because IT JUST DOESN'T WORK.

No matter. The answer is obviously to avoid anything that involves doing more than edit these pages and add the occasional page.Being a great advocate of the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) school of management I shall practice what I preach. Visitors will be by invitation only. You, my friend, are part of a very select bunch!
