2QT Ltd

I work closely with Catherine Cousins from 2QT Ltd, one of the straightest, most approachable and knowledgeable people in the industry.
Over the years the company has published some excellent fiction and non-fiction and continues to work with both existing and new authors. In an editorial capacity, I collaborate closely with my writers; many of them have become good friends – and repeat clients.

Society of Authors

No reason for me to bang the society’s drum except that its staff are amazingly knowledgeable, very approachable and always offer good advice. It is the authors’ trade union and campaigns constantly to improve our lot. If you’re a published author (and that includes self-published) consider becoming a member.

The Extensive Reading Foundation

One Foundation initiative is the annual Language Learner Literature Award for the best new graded readers in English. Another is maintaining a bibliography of research on extensive reading. The Foundation is also interested in helping educational institutions set up extensive reading programs through grants that fund the purchase of books and other reading material.
